My memory isn't real clear on all of the history on this, but I just want to
make sure that the vacuum fitting you are testing isn't the one sticking out
the primary side of the throttle body inline with the throttle shaft.
That vacuum port, for distributor vacuum advance, would have vacuum as long
as the edge of the primary plate was next to it. Open it so the primary
plate is beyond it and vacuum will drop to zero, or close to it.
Just checking.
