  I've talked with Mike Potter about this, seems like he said it would work
as well. I don't remember if there were any issues to resolve hooking up
lines and e-brake cables though. Probably what I'll do myself soon.

...the sorry answer is buy new ones...I've looked into using Passat
rear calipers, and it looks like they might work if used on
the opposite side and turned upside down...oddly enough.
