RE: Euro taillight Q? legality?

I'm pretty sure that the euro taillights have no small rectangular cut out
for the sidemarker light. So, if you want to use the US bulb holder, you
have to remove the sidemarker bulb. Also, the euro taillight has no side
marker reflector lens in the blinker housing.

On my 83 8v the hole next to the brake light is plugged, and that's not
where the fog light is on the euro cluster. This hole is covering the spot
where the europeans have their brake light. The real fog light is next to
the back-up light (where the tallights are on mine).

Actually, I don't think there is a difference in the taillight molding
between US and euro models. Only difference I know of is that the punch
out for the rear fogs is left intact in US models. As far as the
pinstriping, the 16v lights in the US had the same paint location, just a
different color, so I don't see how that would affect anything.

Or you could use the US bulb holder on the euro reflector assembly.
