  This is what I have installed into my '81 rocco.  I *found* a JH and just
"dropped it in" without any other real work...besides a new clutch
and all new seals, of course.  I had the head re-surfaced and had about
0.003" removed...should have increased compression from 8.5 to possibly
as much as 9.0, but really not much of a difference.
  I really like the JH with my FF long ratio box...great for daily
driving!

  If you are going to actually spend $$ on a block...hehe, unlike me...
then I would say to source a Audi 3A block (2.0 liter)...that's what
I will do next I think.
