Re: Vibration (was Steering Rack Problems)



Hi Dave,
I would check to see if your wheels were Hub centric. I have some 15"
aftermarket wheels that are pretty but are junk! After many balancing
attempts I removed the wheels and was pissed to see a bunch of slop in the
center of the wheel where it is supposed to fit tightly ( not really tight
but snug) around the hub on the rotor. I have heard that some people have
had luck centering a wheel like this by tightening each lug down 1/4 turn at
a time. Good luck, hope this helps.
