To me, it is the issue.

That is part of the fun.

To me, crossing the line is:
Selling parts for a living or subsidizing your living
selling from your business
Posting multiple "for sale" posts to the list.

Also, examples of Dave and Dirk should take note that these guys have
contributed heavily to the list, of the list and for the list. In Dave's
case, the list discussed a want/need and he simply filled it. Peoples
hunger for "Euro parts" and Dirks ability to aquire and put up with
shipping said parts has been a service for many. Neither of them have
ever blatantly (that im aware of) posted a commercial like post to the
list.
Brett sells Gauge faces.
Hell, I still even have the Scirocco.org t-shirts for sale from way back
when. I think its been over a year since ive even said anything about my
Scirocco shirts.
The bottom line is, none of THESE people post their "sales" to the list
in every post.

I agree. Specifically people who are trying to rid themselves of parts
they no longer want, need or can use. Why not sell it off to someone who
could use it and put the money back in your ride? Im all for that. I just
don't want to see the list turn into a place where commercialism
overpowers list members posts. if we police it tightly as a group, we
will never have the problem. (Like you find in other lists/forums ect.)

Well, I think in his case, he should create a web page with his wares and
post his stuff there. If he wants to contribute to the list, gain
knowledge from this list, then im all for his being here. All he has to
do is leave his web address in his sig. Anyone interested can follow
along and see what he has. Simple really?

>Well, them thars my .02...

Heres your change, sir. :)
