Hehehe, well, I never said it was optimal performance for street
conditions, but that doesn't mean you can't drive the car to the store and
back.  If you check out my dyno chart (available on scirocco16v.com I
think) you'll see that these cams made perfectly reasonable power between
2-3000rpm, where you do your daily driving.  At low rpms, it was kinda like
driving a stock 1.8 16v with the timing dialed back a little bit.  I would
never recommend these cams to someone who had tractability and refinement
as top priorities, because they really are wild cams, but I'm kinda tired
of people dumping on the 276es, calling them worthless on the street, etc.
