RE: Nitrous anyone?

You'll definitely want to review the rule-books before you plunk down a couple
hundred bills. I have no experience with ice racing, but nitrous is illegal in
just about every form of racing I'm familiar with (except drag racing of
course).

I don't think nitrous would be very good for a road course, anyway. Nitrous is
meant to be used for a quick burst on a straight line drag course, not over a
long race. You'd probably burn through pistons before the end of the fourth lap.
Besides, the last thing you want to do on an ice race is actually INCREASE your
wheelspin problems, right? :)

I plan on doing a little Ice Racing this winter, I don't
plan on being too
competive, the speeds aren't that high on the tracks they
race on so I
thought a little nitrous boost at the right time might help
me pass the
other cars on straights. I know I can kick their ass in the
corners :-),
anyway I see auto tech has a kit, anyone used it?
experiences? value?  Also
I think that the 10lb bottle that comes with their kit may
be too small for
my application, 100mi enduro style race.
