Not from first hand experience, but really not worth it IMHO. It might look
cool though, or not.... :-) Not even sure that it would really cool that
much, being really out of the airstream and all.

anyway, what are your oil temps now? 210 F is a good temp. As high as 230 F
is OK, and if you're higher than than, you'll want to drop it back down to
210, which the clamp on thingy won't do.

I thought all A2's had the water-oil heat exchanger, guess not. You should
be able to pick up all the related pieces in a junkyard for less than $20.
You need the exchanger, the 3 outlet hose to the water pump, the water
outlet flange from the head, and the hose from the head to the cooler. Get a
new o-ring for the flange. You will also need the longer threaded piece that
the oil filter screws onto. A 27mm nut holds it on. By removing it in the
junkyard, you know how it all goes back on, difficulty rating of 3.

For about $100 (if you want to spend a little) you should be able to find a
used air-oil cooler setup.

Do it right, if you're gonna do it at all.
