[fs] sad '87 16v in local lot (north-central ohio)

  well, i found a silver 16v while making deliveries. stopped by and
took a good look and a test drive. good part is that they'd take $800
for it. bad part is that it needs more than a little work. roof is
dented and the left side, well the quarter panel's good. the fender is
dented and the driver's door has serious rust problems near the handle
and is missing the body kit piece that goes on the door. i should say
that the car does run, though the clutch cable needs to be adjusted or
the clutch is about to die. nasty exhaust leak where it connects to the
down pipe, but rest of the exhaust looks solid. set of teardrops missing
at least one center cap and have been curbed. interior is nice, though
there is the tear in the driver's seat. fuba antenna, of course. no
radio and the deck lid is sagging from a pair of 6x9's. looks like some
leaking around the valve cover. transmission seemed okay despite bad
shift linkage bushings. there are some things that i would like on it
(power steering, central locking, dash, maybe windshield), but if i were
to buy it i'd probably try and fix it (losing battle). i would be
willing to split the cost of the car for parts and would even tear the
parts off for maybe a little cash. let me know if you're in the market
for a few 16v parts or the car. thanx.
