RE: [mk2] power window wiring

Yup.

When I am lazy and wire in the power mirrors, I simply run the power wire
through the firewall to a inline fuse and battery connection. Saves having
to go under the dash.

It is a bit of a pain if you have a passenger that likes to play with
switches when you are out of the car :)

Windows on the other hand, I always wire direct. I hate being stuck in a
hot car with power windows while the driver is sitting in line for an ATM
machine or something. Nice to be able to operate the windows with out the
ignition on. Same deal. Simply attack power to fuse and battery direct.

Now of course I never buy a car with power options. Too expensive. I buy
the rock bottom and add the power options later ;)
