Low on the tread portion? Of on the sidewall? (The mention of rubbing
against the strut is confusing me.)

If it/s tread wear then alignment and a too low tire pressure come to
mind. Have you inflated them to the spec on the TIRE or to the spec on
the Door Jamb?
