o2 sensor... now I am confused...

alright you technically inclined folks out there... I need a bit of info..

After still looking for my start stall problem, I tracked a loose wire and
discovered, repaired and re-connected my o2 sensor. now the car runs at
15-1700 RPM at a light, I disconnect it
and it runs 1000-1100 rpm.

what needs to be adjusted now... (concerning the idle problem) ...?
