RE: Need a silver MK2 driver side fender with no dents/dings

There are no VW scirocco in the Dallas Area, but I do recall in the
Arlington/mid cities of DFW scrap yards there was a few scirocco's there in
rather good shape, don't recall the name but there are like 8-9 scrap yards
next to each other on this particular road. The hardest part is sometimes to
remember to use a stick on the body of the car to "shoo" the rattlers hiding
under the old cars.

Get in touch with George Curl, also in N. Texas. He told me of a couple of
yards in the Mansfield area. One was Apple Salvage, can't remember the
other. I was in the area a couple of weeks ago but never had a chance to
prowl the yards. I ended up finding a driver's side fender here in Ok. It
looks so good, it's embarrassed to be seen with the rest of my car.

No, it's on the trailer about to be hauled away.  That
fender was tweaked though, so won't do him any good.
