Re: motometer speedo???

I was hoping the VDO premature odo/trip death thing was just a
myth....but.....
When I hit around 197,000 with Mars (couple weeks ago), the VDO speedo's
odo/trip stopped :(
Could this have something to do with burying the speedo on a daily basis :D
Speedomotor still works fine though.
IIRC this is the original mileage on the car.
I am really bummed because I now no longer have an acurated measurement of
her miles anymore.
And DAMMIT, I was gonna celebrate when she hit 200K.
Oh well, I guess now it's time to replace that 85mph VDO with a higher speed
Motometer.

Randy (I'm peeling that VDO sticker off my toolbox - that'll teach em'!)
