Re: in-depth radiator theory- Now Oil Temps...



Concerning oil temps on my 1981 1.7L I get oil temps especially with my A/C 
on up to 290 degrees F.  This concerns me although I maintain good oil 
pressure and water temp rarely goes beyond the middle light.

This all has occured since changing over to Kendall's 20-50 for the summer. 
Before that I was using Kendall 10-30 and the temps never got that high, 
even on hot days with the A/C on.
