Who wrote that piece anyways?  My issue hasn't arrived yet.

Since the comment was in prelude to a nice comment about MY car, I'm going to
offmer my car to the author for a day or weekend, assuming he's here in 
SoCal, which he should be since EC is headquartered here.. my object would
be to let him gain some Scirocco appreciation, and hopefully write a kinder
piece about it/them/us/whatever.

Does this sound like a good idea or am I nuts?
