F.S. 1977 SCIROCCO IN NOVA

"Karmann Electra" is for sale... (sniff, sniff)
1977  Scirocco -Platinum Metallic paint (sun faded) -1986 GTI, 1.8L high
compression (10.1:1) motor w/ large valve (40mm intake) hydraulic head.
Neuspeed throttle body. -Gillet exhaust system (legal w/o catalytic
converter, given model year ~est. 120 hp ), Neuspeed plug wires -"FF" type
close ratio 5-speed tranny with overdrive 5th gear (72 mph at 3k in 5th). -
-Front spoiler -150 watt clear lens Rally High Beams -14 inch "GTI" Snow
flake wheels with 185/60 tires -A1 GTI suspension (includes front and rear
anti-sway bars and custom front lower strut bar). -Removable tinted glass
sunroof -Cloth interior. "Recaro copy" seats. Upholstery in good condition
(except driver's seat, which is worn). -No radio.-Auxiliary electrical
systems need work, hence the name "Karmann Electra" (turn signals, back-up
lights, horn, some gauges, etc). -Runs very strong (with work on the lights
and horn, this can be a daily driver - very reliable, and a blast to drive).
Some fiberglass repair work under driver's and front passenger's feet by PO
(claimed to be "...stronger than original metal work...").  A1 GTI fender
flares installed.  Recently relayed headlights (all new wiring), added oil
spray controller and replaced valve cover gasket (cork) .
Spare parts that go with car: 
1) Schroth 4-point harness with electronic inertial activation ready to
install. 
2) Two (yes both of them) late model  fenders (l and r) 
3) Both wrap-around turn signals 
4) Zender aftermarket grill (needs to be painted).  
5) Complete rear brake kit (drums,  hand brake cables, wheel cylinders) 
6) Fuse block (may install) 
7) Blauplunkt "Memphis" Tuner
Owned car for less than two months.  Recently accepted military orders
overseas (Japan) and must sell car. $1000/obo for this Classic.  Photos
