    for a nutty-NA 16V, my (quick) list would be:

2.0 16V block
1.8 16V P&P
schrick valve springs
schrick 304º cams
TT race header
50 mm euro intake
some kind of aftermarket FI (so that your rev limit is somewhere north of
9000)

    i'd imagine that you'll probably peak around 210-220 crankHP.  i'm sure
that torque would be non-existant, and that driving the car anywhere under
4500 would make you think that the car was running on 2 cylinders.  however,
once that motor hit about 5500+, it would go like STINK!!

    lots of dough, tho.

    i've got about 170 crankHP in my mk1 rocco, and it's a lot of fun to
tool around in.  170 is enuff to make the mk2 VR6 boys quiver with fear.
they'll getcha on midrange, but you'll get em out of the hole, and that's
what'll win ya the races at the strip...
