I can tell you that my 82 weighs 2380 with me in the car. (Autox tires,
empty car with 1/2 tank of fuel.) Thats 360 more than Pottermans car in
similar autox trim. Thats why im sandblasting my 79 (in progress.) to get
all the weight out of it as I can. The MK-I IS lighter than ANY MK-II. Im
not too sure those numbers you got there are accurate.
