Re: Why do you own a Scirocco?

I wasn't going to respond to this at first because it would have been too,
too long of an email. But a couple of things reminded me of the extremely
basic reason why I drive a Scirocco...

My sister owned a 1980 Scirocco, and I learned to drive with it. I used to
love to drive that car to High School instead of my mom's Honda, blech! Even
as a 16 year old I knew a Honda had no personality and feel to it.

And why do I still drive one (16 years later)? Fun, lightweight, great
handeling, easily modified, and...I still love to walk away from it and
admire it's good looks when I'm in a parking lot. I look back several times
just to check it out.
