Tanrantula Mags

I recently managed to order from VW dealership the center hubs for the set of
tarantula mags
I hjave on the car, my question is the following:

The center hubs for the mags from the dealership are all black, there is the VW
logo on it
but they also (though raised) are also black, Does anyone know if that was how
it was issued
back then, or are the VW lettering supposed to be silver/chrome in color?
