Sounds like you are on the right track as far as the order in which you plan
to do things.  Are you sure you wouldn't want to go to a 2.0 engine block
instead of the 1.8L JH?  I don't know a whole heckuvalot about wether one,
but if you are going to be buying a new block, why not get the one with more
displacement?  I was thinking that I might eventually put a 2.0L block under
my 16V head eventually, so I'm interested in why you wouldn't.

Anyone else have any words of wisdom here?
