Tightening head with allen?

After my cam seized on the 84. The head is destroyed. now i'm just wondering
if i can tighten the head bolts with an allen wrench? i don't have that
"special" tool. so i ended up pounding an allen wrench into the bolt and
loosened it that way. just how effective would it be tightening it? I'll
post pictures of the seized cam later.

btw: the sprocket is still in the freeway somewhere
