Yeah, I remember Sean. Saw his car in the DeAnza College parking lot couple
years back and left a not on his window to call me about the Scirocco 1
club. After talking to him, we checked out his Scirocco. His car was full on
RACE. If I remember he had a 1.8, all the full suspension mods and a cage,
plus much more. He works(ed) at Firestone Tire on San Antonio Rd. Great Guy
and very knowledgable.
David, I think you met this guy when you went to get the align done on the
Cirrus.

The guy with the 81 FS is probably asking a lot, even with the high miles (I
know I'd be) but if it's as clean as he say's, might be worth it for an East
coaster to fly out and drive it back.

Just a thought :-)

Not a bad idea. Heh heh heh. He just don't know, do he?

Shoot, just last week I was heading into the Laser Disk rental shop
(El
Camino & San Antonio, across from Tower) and I saw this 78 Champagne
Edition with SCAA Autocross sticker on it.

Guy turn out to be a mutual acquaintance of some of the A1 Scirocco
folks (Randy knows this guy) - SciroccoMan.

He is thinking of migrating to Porsches and is looking to sell the
Mk1
with it's beefy suspension and souped up engine. (Sheesh, He broke
it
all down to me and I'm forgetting specs. <sigh> Getting Old. :)

Oh, His name is Sean. (Spelled funny, right Shawn?)

I'll see what I can find out about the Red one, the white one is
already
turned out to Race but I'm not.
