  Not in my VW's (well, 73 Super when I pulled into dealer once), but after I 
filled the tank in Godzilla ('69 Buick), the cashier asks me how much for it. 
I tell him he really doesn't want it but he persists. So I tell him, "First, 
I don't need more enemies and my friend and I don't want to walk back to Reno 
from Sacramento!". We both have a good laugh and he scribles down his number 
and tells me to call him if I ever change my mind. 
  And I thought all the wierd stuff at night only happens in Nevada.
