The sparkplug hole will get fractionally smaller as the engine heats up.
(physics)

Same principal as when you turn a hot tap on and the water flow decrases.
Internal Diameter get smaller when heated (any hole, except my girlfriend's)
, and Outer Diameter gets bigger when heated (if it's a pipe)

Oh god what have I done?
