Yes, that theory seems correct to me. I think the problem is that the
aluminum gets softer. To be truthful, I'm not really sure, but I've seen too
many people who have pulled hot plugs only to find a whole lot of extra
shiny metal attached to the threads. The proof is in the pudding, I spose,
and theory or no, I've seen the damage it can cause. I only pull cold plugs.
It's like abstainance (sp?), it's the only way to be 100% safe...
