RE:  Programable wiper

The aftermarket intermittent wiper relay I have is programmed by cycling 
the wiper on-off.  NBD while driving.  It may even have come stock on 
some later VWs.

RE:  Walker Ultraflow.  Have on my otherwise stock 87 16V.  But, its the 
long 2.25" unit.  About same length as OEM.  NOt bad now, dunno if you 
have no resonator/cat.  

RE:  Spark Plug wires.  As mentioned before, Rapid Parts did do warranty 
exchange no problem on 16V wires.  If you understand that OEM ends may 
have resistors in them, then plug wire resistance is not overriding 
factor. Durability, build quality, price, and maybe appearance?


RE: MSD units.  I think if you ask Scott Williams, he has experience.  
It would be interesting if you would take some baseline measurements of 
acceler and see if the box makes a difference and under what conditions.  -- 
You may have to buy or fabricate a tach adapter/voltage divider.
Don't expect a quick payoff, I'd guess.
