Re: scirocco jack points



Peter hit it all on the nose.

Rear axle to lift, then support at appropriate points, either factory frame
points or where rear beam is connected to frame (two points).

Front, I like to jack on the chassis where the A-arm is connected (it's
actually the frame, not the A-arm), where the front A-arm bushing pivots.  I
then support at front factory points just forward of the front door hinge.

Remember that the factory jack points are for lifts, which few of us, if
any, have.  We have to have jack and support points - the blessed few use
one and the same.   (chumps!!  hehehe)
