Similar to yours.  I've owned 2 - a Mk3 ('97) and Mk4 ('99.5).  They are nice
cars in their own way, but are nose-heavy as hell and require serious tire
and suspension upgrades just to handle "ok".  The VR6 is a sweet motor, but
gets horrendous gas mileage for its displacement and HP.

I've gone to a Passat 1.8T as my daily driver to go with the 'roc and it's
a perfect combo for me.
