RE: $193 speeding ticket redux

If this sounds cynical, sorry, its just how things work sometimes. Call
your insurance co., anonymously, and find out how much your traffic ticket
is going to cost you in additional premiums. If you decide if its
worthwhile, get a lawyer. You might be surprised at how little of the
proceeding have anything to do with the merits of the case and how much
to do with the personal relationships. I'd recommend calling the
traffic judge's bailiff and asking him for a lawyer referral. That way
you be sure to get one who contributed to that judges re-election fund.
And, guys with lawyers might not have to wait to have their case heard.
Be willing to take some kind of citation, just be knowledgeable about the
points awarded and if its any kind of bargain. If you read the
books/sites, the first thing you learn is the lawyer tactic of delay,
delay, delay. So, give yourself time if you decide to fight and postpone
your appearance.

RE: WD-40.

No teflon in there AFAIK. Its about 85% kerosene, 15% light petr.
distillates. But, its cheap.
