RE: brake upgrades

I've got 10.1" vented and slotted rotors, good fluid running through
stainless lines, and Ferodo pads on my 16v. I was considering the G60 swap,
but believe me, it is NOT necessary! I have yet to feel fade on that system,
and as the Potterman put it, it stops on a dime and gives you change.
Upgrading to vented rotors if you don't have them are a MUST (and cheap).
Going to 10.1" will help raw power, and the slotted or x-drilled rotors help
if you are worried about fade, but they are expensive.

Having driven some peoples' non-16vs with drums in the rear, I believe that
rear disks help, but not a great deal. It's probably more of a "cool" factor
than anything. If you find a 16v rear beam and master cylinder cheap, go for
it. Otherwise, just get some good shoes in the back.

If you autocross, remember that changing the size/type of your brakes is
probably illegal in most classes.
