When I asked around about this a few years ago, it was suggested that 
I go with the
stock Pentosin (sp?) type of fluid.  I bought a can of it at the 
dealer, green if I
remember correctly, and rather expensive also.  Anyway, the rack has 
given me no
trouble at all, steering is great.  Might not matter at all, but 
that's my experience.
