Re: Reccomendations for Power Steering Fluid?



I agree with Danny in that "bleeding" a PS pump is not necessary; they will
purge themselves of air.
The "best" fluid is a moot point, since you will experience no difference in
pump performance or longevity whether you use K-Mart ATF or Redline
synthetic PS fluid.  PS pumps are rather unsophisticated devices and will
operate on just about anything.
This has been my experience, over the years.
