Engine running poorly - conclusion

Thanks everyone.  The problem was the timing.  I wasn't able to work on
it until tonight.  I'm all fixed up and now I just need to turn down the
idle to where it was before all of my "fixin'".  I'm not using a cat now
and it doesn't seem hardly any louder inside the car.  My car pulls well
to the redline.  I'm happy.
