Simple. do the Quaife first. Suspension can come later. 
Now, just DO IT! Go-on! You'll be glad you did. 

Here is where you ask why. Ill save you the trouble and get all detaily
on your Cheapass self. 

Doing a quaife is a big deal. Its not easy or cheap. itso ne of those
annoying things that just needs to be done and over with. Doing the
quaife will make a (example) stock suspension work better. If you do a
racy suspension, its only as good as the one wheel pulling you out of the
corners. You will still need to learn how to drive. Driving with a quaife
is 1) easier. 2) more fun. 3) more feedback to what the front end of the
car is doing. 4) it allows for finer trail braking which, as you learn to
drive you will find is a valiable tool in getting a FWD low HP car around
a solo2 course, quickly.
