Hmmmm,

I thought that the knock sensing box did the rev limiter, and it was via a
fuel pump cutout, and it was a simple matter to disable it (cut whichever
wire sends signal to the fuel pump or something like that)

I dont remeber who told me this, but i can double check the facts...
