Dubwar schedule for next sunday.

OK guys and gals. Looks like there are only gonna be a few Scirocco.org
people attending the show according to the pre-registered list thats on
the Dubwar web site. Hopefully more show up for some of the events. Ive
decided on doing the autox and burnout contest in my 82 Scirocco. Since
the new cam (Thanks Nate!), Cam gear and HD valve springs (Thanks
Potterman!) have awakened the beast in the 84, ill Road Race and show the
84 Roc. 

Oh, dont forget, there will be a Bikini contest too! (I couldnt get Julie
to do it. She could win but she says she dont need $200!)


Below is the schedule which I copied directly from the web site:

Itinerary for the day of the event_

6:00am - 8:00am _ TRACK SETUP
Dubwar staff will utilize this time to prepare the track for the event.
6:45am - 8:00am _ GATE REGISTRATION & PRE REGISTERED PICK UP
Pre-registered participants may pick up their information packet at
this time. Participant gate registration and purchase for motorsport &
show tickets.

6:30am - 8:00am _ VENDOR & TUNER BOOTH SETUP
All Vendors & Tuners will be entering and setting up at their
designated locations on the track.

7:30am -10:00am _ PARTICIPANT TRACK ENTRY
All Motorsport & Car show participants will be allowed to their
assigned area to stage & set up.

8:00am - 10:00am _ TECH INSPECTION FOR MOTORSPORT PARTICIPANTS
All Motorsport participants need to go thru tech inspection located at
the skid pad area.

9:00am - 10:00am _ 1/4 DRAGS DIAL IN TIME
Dial in timing for the 1/4 mile drag race participants on the West
Loop.

9:30am - 12:30pm _ AUTO - X (CROSS)
Auto-X(cross) on the East Loop.

10:00am _ GENERAL PUBLIC
Gates open for the general public to enter.

10:00am _ SHOW JUDGING
judges will begin to make their rounds through all their assigned
classes. We will have approximately 1 judge per class for most of the
classes. The same judge will be judging both (S&R) show categories for
his assigned class/classes.

10:00am - 12:30pm _ 1/4 MILE DRAG RACING
Heads up 1/4 mile drag racing on the West Loop.

12:00pm - 12:15pm _ RAFFLES (great stuff)

12:30pm _ BURN OUT COMPETITION
The Burn Out Contest will take place at the skid pad area.

12:30pm - 1:30pm _ MOTORSPORTS BREAK
The track will be cleared at this time to be cleaned, prepped, & set up
for the Road Race.

1:00pm _BIKINI CONTEST

1:30pm - 1:45pm _ ROAD RACE DRIVER MEETING
All Road Race participants (especially drivers) need to attend this
meeting with the instructors.

1:45pm - 4:00pm _ ROAD RACE
=E2=80=A2The Road Race will take place on the whole track.

4:00pm - 4:45pm _ AWARD CEREMONY

4:45pm - 5:00pm _ A DUBWAR TREAT! (another 1st)

5:00pm _ CLEAN UP
The track needs to be cleared & cleaned. All rules still apply within
the track & please be cautious when exiting. Some of the participants
will stay at the host hotel until Monday noon. If you'd like to stick
around
on Sunday night for a recap of the show, or just to hang out, your
welcome to!
