RE: sunroof issues

I don't think I have any of the guts, Dan. I have the "roof" piece and
that's it. It was dark out last evening as I looked at it, I'll take a
better look this evening, I may well want to take those bits off your hands.

can you see all the actuating stuff? the rod that goes across from pass to
driver's side? the arms & levers?

as for operation, if you need to test it, stick a small screwdriver (or
other small pointy object) into the button in the inside of the gear where
the crank should be. At the same time that you're applying pressure
(releasing the "closed" pin), turn the gear either clockwise (to raise) or
CCW to open the roof. Check your operation first. Then decide what else you
will need. I have a ROUGH interior piece and some other 'guts' the roof
itself is spoken for by Scott in MO.

I'd love it if that were the case, but I"m pretty sure it's not, hope I'm
wrong. There is a body colored piece of sheet metal, and that's it.
Nothing more. Now, keep in mind I have NO idea what should be there, so
it's tough to phrase the questions in an easy to answer format. But there's
no handle to operate the thing, no nothing except a few mm thick piece of
sheet metal btw the inside and outside.

Andrew Stauffer

Sounds like you just need a headliner. No big deal there :-)
