Re: Hatch lever



Sounds like you have the classic bent lock assy syndrome. Looks like its the 
latch causing the problem but really someone has pried into the hatch at one 
point and bent the lock assy mounting point and as a result has caused the 
geometry of the latch to change. Does your hatch work better if you apply 
quick snappy force to the latch? If so try bending the lock assy mounting 
tabs toward the rear of the car.
