are you in so cal? theres aguy close to me that rebult mine(bearings,brushes
etc) for 40$ IIRC there was at least one special tool he used (Iwatched) so
I wouldnt have had much luck doing it myself.He also did my 80 s alternator
(no problems)after watching him,I'll NEVER buy another alt.or starter from a
parts house.
