Try jumpering the fuel pump relay. I assume you used the relay panel and the 
entire wiring from the 16v donor car. As you might suspect, the knock box 
does indeed control the FPR. If that is the only thing wrong with the box 
(for now) then jumpering the FPR might make the car run and let you get busy 
on fine tuning it while you wait for the replacement box to arrive. Just a 
thought.
