Adrian,

On a previous GTI with +/- your mods, I pulled 109 Hp (at the wheels) on the
dyno at the local shop. After I added a G-grind cam, this bumped to 117.
This works out to approximately 140 Hp at the crank, which was more than I
was expecting. I never had a chance to figure out whether that shop's dyno
was optimistic as they went under shortly thereafter.

That car needed rings as compression was a tad low, but it was still
serviceable per Bentley.
