Re: sudden and severe loss of power



After having my steering rack replaced on my 87 16v Roc, I had a similar
problem,
the car then sat for days before I could look at it, turns out one of the
wires near the trans linkage was getting caught in the linkgage and cut...I
patched it back together and it worked fine after that...My problem was
obviously more related to shifting gears as well, as soon as I would shift,
the car would stall...Just my .02 cents...
