Monsoon is part of Delphi (read: GM!) and designs the systems, and perhaps
makes the amps and/or speakers - but the head units are 3rd party units,
at least in the case of VW. On GM cars with Monsoon, they may well be
made either by Monsoon or one of the other Delphi/GM entities (i.e. Delco).

The CD changers in the new cars (Passat B5, Mk4 Golf/Jetta) are definitely
Matsushita, but the head may still be Clarion, strange as that sounds.
