Re: muffler install advice



Keith,

Since you've got the old one off, it should install as easy as you think it
will.  If the muffler is correct for the application, you should be able to
just slide it on and clamp it, no sealer required.

You *might* be able to find a clamp/hanger at the parts store, or you could
go to a muffler shop and see if they'll sell you one.

If you ever want to hang muffler that needs some modification/custom hanger,
most muffler shops will do the job in about 30 min. for about $25.00.  It
sure beats doing it yourself.  There's nothing rewarding about exhaust work!

About Dynomax mufflers; they're the best!  You should buy them for yourself
and consider them for your friends and family for birthdays and holidays!
Seriously, I'm biased, but I think they offer excellent value, ie. you are
getting what you pay for.  They are engineered and manufactured to strict
standards and even come as original equipment on some cars/trucks.
