hey guys

thought i'd add that the new issue of european car has a great article about 
cams for the 16v and the 50 mm intake.  all the dyno figures are there too 
(think the test motor was a 2.0l job with the 1.8 top end.  I may be wrong 
but i can see the point in what brett added about the intake...the figures 
might not reflect that tho.  in the end i think that the intake and 
aftermarket exhaust together added 14 horses.

also...one more thing that i found interesting:  they found that the best 16v 
cam setup involves a 260 degree intake cam and a 278 exhaust.  anybody ever 
heard of this combo thing before?  If i actually decide to do this might this 
be the best choice?
