Yes. BTW, Only Rabbit GTI's had 1.8 motors. Any 4 cyl
motor fit to a VW Rabbit, GTI, Golf, Jetta, Cabriolet,
or Scirocco through like 1992 will fit. Their would be
fuel management issues for some motors.
