Bucking

My 'roc started having a strange bucking problem yesterday. Under
acceleration, right after upshifting into second, the car will give one to
three little bucks and then run fine. I have no idea what's causing it, but
it's a little disturbing when it happens as I'm trying to get on the
freeway.

I'm running a JH and a 2H tranny. It idles fine and revs fine out of gear.
Also, after running on the freeway for a while, the problem tends to go
away. Also, if I wind it up to a higher rpm before shifting, it tends not to
happen.

Could this problem be an oil-soaked clutch? I stupidly didn't replace the
rear seal when I installed the motor a year ago, and oil does drip from
between the motor and the bell housing (I did replace the tranny seal).
